We have been learning to read out loud using expression. We need to look at the punctuation to help us use expression. When there is an exclamation mark we made it sound louder and interesting. We read a play to practice and then record it on Puppet Pals
I found this easy because I only had a small part.
My next step is to do no mistakes when I read.

My Reflection

We have been learning to find and summarise information.  I worked with Riley on this task,  We have been learning about the brain and in this activity we had to find words from A-Z about the brain.  Some we got from our brain and some we looked on the internet.  I found lots of facts about the brain.  It was interesting and I enjoyed it.  My next step is to read more facts and find harder words.

We have been learning to identify the features of a non-fiction text.   I found this becuase I know the difference between fiction and non-fiction.  My next step is to use the information I get from these to help me understand the text.

A contents page is a page to find where to go in the book.

2.Where is the index page?
The index page is at the back of the book.

3.What is the glossary
A glossary is a page that tells the meaning of some words ?

4.Why are there mostly photographs?
There are mostly photographs because it is real.

5.Why do some diagrams have labels?

The labels explain the diagrams.

I am learning how to write an explanation.
It was tricky to find the glossary.
I am proud that I now know about the glossary.
Next time I will use this knowledge with  a non-ficfion book
